             GETTING TO KNOW ELAINI ....

Hailing from Hollidaysburg, PA, Elaini Arthur sings with the voice of a country angel and her songs are heart-felt and reminiscent of that grand ole country style made popular by the likes of Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn.

Her musical journey started when she was five years old, after hearing her first Patsy Cline song called " Honky Tonk Merry Go Round" and to this day is inspired by Patsy Cline.

At the age of six, her mother entered her into a Patsy Cline Sing a Song contest where she sang " Walkin' After Midnight". In presence that night was country music legend George Hamilton IV who commented " Patsy would have been there with her arms around her."

A few years and few songs later, Elaini would find herself singing at a local West Virginia Honky Tonk, known as the Troubadour, owned by another country legend, Joltin' Jim McCoy. He noticed an enormous potential in Elaini and took her under his wing until his passing. Many years ago, he noticed similar potential in another young girl and put her on the radio. She was an unknown. Her name was Patsy Cline.

Elaini has gained some national and international attention in the years to follow through performances on the Shotgun Red Variety Show, Music City Hayride, Nashville Spotlight Television Show, and the Grinderswitch Radio Hour.  She has also taken the stage on some of country music's most famed stages including The Ernest Tubb Texas Troubadour Theater, The Nashville Palace, Tootsie's, and as guest of Steve Hall's (Shotgun Red) at the Nashville Nightlife Dinner Theater. She has also performed on the Elvis Tribute Cruise aboard the Carnival Splendor.

Elaini's main passion is country music but she loves many other avenues of music as well, learning from each and every one. She wears her heart on her sleeve and uses her love of music to connect with the world. She says if there is just one person in the audience that her music touches and means something to them, that is what makes her smile.

She is also an avid musician and songwriter.

"Truly, the music world has found something unique in Elaini Arthur. A singer with a sound that will bring many listeners back to the days when country music was young. While the people of her own generation get a chance to experience this sound live, maybe for the first time," as stated from an excerpt by Tommy Neal of Stars 2 Come Magazine.
